Halloween Special Post 10

Halloween cannot go by without the vampiric society chiming in. Whether in costume, or for people more inclined to the dark side like me, it is a time of year to be who you want to be or for the latter, just to be yourself. So, in my posts about vampires and their world of fact and fiction, I offer you this history series of videos to kick it off ....
Discription: Since the dawn of civilization, blood-drinking ghouls have been documented in every major culture around the world. From the ancient Babylonian Edimmu through Richard Trenton Chase and Jeffrey Dahmer, vampire-like beings have walked among the living.

This program takes you on a terrifying historical journey through the ages, with vivid stories of people like the 16th century Hungarian noblewoman Elizabeth Bathory -- better known as the "Blood Countess" -- who tortured and killed over 600 servant girls, drinking and bathing in their blood.

Other notorious figures include the real-life Dracula, Prince Vlad Tepes -- born in 1431 in Transylvania -- who impaled and killed over 100,000 people; and the German butcher Fritz Harmann whose deadly bite claimed at least 24 young victims -- and who later ground up the body parts to make sausages which he ate himself and also sold to his customers.

These and many other incredible legends are revealed in this feature-length program. Do vampires really exist? Learn the truth and find out for yourself.

More New Orleans ghost accounts, trhough the eyes of the personal experience and paranormal field.

Halloween Special Post 7

Although I do disagree with the assessment that a tragic, unexpected, or violent event makes a "ghost" as opposed to what I define as "spirit", I do know that sometimes this is the case. I've found through my research that very specific circumstances must be present to keep a spirit trapped here as a ghost, and a lot of times it is the choice of the spirit to remain as a ghost, for they have reasons of their own to stay all the time. Spirits can and do travel between planes. Simply because you see one does not mean they are trapped or need to "move to the light". This is where a good trans medium comes in for real time communication witht the spirit to know if they are indeed trapped here or not. Having said that, I ask you to take a step back and consider the spirit instead of the theories that prevail in this field. Consider the spirit as you would yourself. After all, the spirits of humans that have passed are just that .... humans without a body.

As for the ancient art of Voudoo, once again, pay attention to the priestess's words. The power of prayer, by any intention, and the power of ritual by the same. What, after all, is faith? Faith, spirituality, and what we call paranormal all go hand in hand at some point ...... Do not be confused or under illusion!

Halloween Special Post 6

No Halloween blog series would be complete without something about the famous Voudoo Queen of New Orleans, Marie LaVeau! This series is far from over, however, this information cannot be ignored by anyone who seeks to understand the "darker" side of the paranormal. So much emphasis is placed on this old art form or magical practice, yet so little is understood about magic itself and the intention of the practitioner. This video sums it up and also answers the question what are those Gris Gris bags, anyway? If we learn this lesson, all else comes to a more simplified way of viewing any magical art in terms of solving cases that involves the use of them. I hope this brings enlightenment to those who seek it.

Here lies one of America's most haunted cities and most interesting as well. Our team has an investigator in the city and also a pending investigation at one of the plantations by invitation of the owner. If we can get the travel money together, we will be doing that.

This city is one of my favorites and rich in history. It's culture is the most livid out of all the cities I've dug into. I love this city even before I go. I can't say I'll return if I ever do, because of the living and the dead!
